fresh whites | TU crisp summer dress

Hi there Monday morning!  I’m digging the whole ‘fresh clean crisp white’ thing at the minute.  Goes with the fresh start Monday morning feeling well, don’t you think?  Even right now I’m wearing a big baggy white shirt just to stay at home all day – white and fresh puts me in a productive mood.  And boy do I need to be bloody productive for the next couple of weeks.  I went to 6:45am Bodypump this morning and lifted heavier than I usually do, so we’re off to a good start!  Now to keep it up…

Does picking up summer clothes whilst doing the weekly food shop count as multitasking? Always good when you end up coming home from Sainsbury’s with an impromptu cute dress buy, anyway.  No idea how that ended up in the trolley with the vegetables, none at all.

It was cute and white and exactly the kind of dress I like for Spring and Summer, what can I say.  My beloved Topshop lacy one shrunk to indecent (read: butt flashing) lengths in the wash but I’m pretty happy with this replacement.  It’s more preppy and neat than boho, and is the kind of thing I’d imagine wouldn’t look out of place in the stands at Wimbledon or something.  Maybe I need to get into tennis.

Not every day you get to balance a 10ft glitter ball on your head is it?  Blackpool prom is always one of our fave locations when it’s *kinda* sunny – the light’s so perfect!  Wind on the other hand – that was a battle and a half I tell you.  Light can make such a difference to your impression of a place, I find.  Probably subliminally in most cases, but a blue sky definitely gives better first impressions than grey.
