Happy Sunday people!  Let’s first address the fact that it’s now November and… how the hell did that happen?   We’re 83% of the way through 2015.  Wut.  Defo wrote my New Years resolutions a couple of weeks ago.  I like November though, so it’s cool.  Today’s attire is about as un-November like as it gets (bare legs and arms and all) but surprisingly I wasn’t actually that cold.  Probably the last chance I’ll get to crack out this little ditsy one for a while!

Another outfit including black boots cause I’m predictable like that.  Nice little bloggermail box to open on a Saturday morning!  Jones Bootmaker kindly offered me a pair and their boots couldn’t really fit better with my style.  I like that they’re super casual and ever so slightly rustic looking, but neat and tidy too.  Can’t be doing with sloppy shoes.

No, I wasn’t freezing, yes, I am deathly pale and wintery.  Cute dress though isn’t it?  The print’s not overly summery, even if it is a little flimsy.

Totally unrelated to boots and outfits, but gotta acknowledge Halloween haven’t I!  My lovely friend Scarlett threw a Halloween bash – it was fab, we had lots of fun, and most of the photos are going no further than the gals Whatsapp chat!  My outfit was a ‘thrown together Halloween paraphernalia’ number consisting of a silver tinsel wig (mum’s ‘space party’ getup years ago), Shiny Pants, long boots, and an old age 8 Dracula costume of my brother’s with a bra sewn in.  #TextileStudent right there.  I posted a couple of pics to my Instagram if you wanna go see!

Anddddd now I’m off to do that student-y thing of finishing ALL the homework on the Sunday afternoon at the end of half term, fun!  I’ve been crazy busy, not lazy, promise.  Only so much homework you can do on a train or in a hotel room at night.  Sunday catchup day is much needed!

I like your look today and I too am thinking of weaing a dress tomorrow. It will be 17 degrees! Those boots look perfect too. I need something with no heel like that.

Oh this year being 83% done comment has gotten to me. I haven’t been commenting much to your blog because of this. Just a bit more work time and a bit more thinking time and I can really finish up this Ph.D. this year. Yeah! I have been reading all your posts and I keen to see some of your Tomorrows Engineers stuff. I am trying to keep up, but also trying to get ahead with the work.

Thanks Max! It’s been surprrisingly mild for November here too!

Boots without heels are good aren’t they. 🙂

No worries about not commenting on my blog honestly! I had a feeling you’d be a very busy lady. Best of luck with your Ph.D! Glad you’ve enjoyed the Tomorrow’s Engineers stuff – I know it’s different to my usual but it’s been a big part of my life lately so I felt I should include it anyway!
