bloggers review box

flat-lay

I probably now deserve the title of Worst Blogmas Blogger ever, but let’s just ignore that little fact shall we? Time to play catchup now.  The Press Tent Blogger’s Review Box it is!   I don’t usually go for standard ‘review’ posts, but it’s fun to be given a batch of stuff just to try.  Some items I’d definitely choose myself, some I never even knew existed tbh but have used daily since.  Onto the contents!

Nerdwax.  Probably my most used of all the items!  The guy who came up with the idea of putting beeswaz on glasses is a genius.  I wear contacts most days anyway but when I do wear glasses, I usually have push them up constantly.  They stick to my face now though!   I thought it might make my skin on the bridge of my nose feel a bit greasy and weird, but nope, we’re good.  The tiny writing saying ‘removing seal may increase interest in quantum physics’ made me smile too haha.  Now if they could invent something to keep glasses miraculously free of smudges, that would be GREAT.
Halo deodorant wipes Why have I not used these before?  Makes SO much more sense than carrying a can or stick of deodorant in your bag.

Cherry Blossom Lypsyl.   What can I say, everybody knows it does the job!  It’s lived in my bag everyday since and rescued my painfully dry lips multiple times.  That’s what cold air and matte lipstick does for ya.

So?… body spray.  If anything brings back memories of school PE changing rooms, it’s this!  Quick spritz after netball, anyone?

bloggers-review-box

Quite a variety of little bottles in this box!

Bee Good Honey & Propolis cream cleanser I’ve used this for the last couple of weeks and my skin feels oh so smooth after every use.  Seems to have cleared up my breakout anyway, thank god!  Cleansers rather than foamy face washes seem to work better for me.  This one feels almost like a smoothing primer.

Licor 43 & Luxardo Amaretto.  Gotta admit I’m yet to crack these open (that may or may not be changing tonight) but the samples at the Press Tent Event tasted (and smelt) nice!  Pretty strong on the flavour and alcohol but nice in small doses. 🙂

hotel-chocolat-christmas-mess-chocolates

Hotel Chocolat Christmas Mess.  Eton Mess is one of my fave desserts ever so I’ll take all the Eton Mess chocolates please.  Nice treat whilst watching Vlogmas’ at night. 🙂

proper-corn

Proper Corn popcorn.  One bag included in the review box and another up for grabs on the night.  I’ve decided they’re the perfect kinda thing for when you’re hungry, want a little sweet treat to keep you going, but want to feel like you’re kind of being good to your body and don’t want to fill up on rubbish.

rosie-fortescue-nail-varnish

Nailed by Rosie Fortescue, shade ‘Man Eater’.  Ok so I already included this one in my roundup of the event, but thought I’d add that it lasted for ages without chipping so is a good formula as well as nice colour.  I’m one for chipping nails within a day too.

Thanks again, Press Tent!
