statement

Hope everyone’s having a fab summer so far!  I’ve already lost track of what day it is.  Which makes me happy.  A couple of chilled days milking every last minute of the heatwave have been lovely.  The need for suncream has been a novelty!  We Brits aren’t used to this heat and it sends us kinda crazy.  And a last minute getaway opportunity has come up too, also making me a happy Lily.  More on that later.

For now, outfits!  Happiness Boutique kindly offered me a piece from their statement jewellery range, and after a nosey and a half around their website and social media I loved the ‘feel good’ vibes so signed right up.  All about those vibes these days.  Believe me when I say I struggled to choose an item though!  They all so prettyyyy.  I finally settled on this tribal statement piece.  I say go big or go home – bright, chunky, ‘lil bit of sparkly because why not.  Dainty jewellery has its place but there’s nothing wrong with being ‘in your face’ once in a while!  This blue-y green-y shade tones works with my wardrobe well too because apparently I wear blue all the time.

Oh and even though they’re actually far more reasonably priced than I’d expected, Happiness boutique also offer a reward program where you can earn points by sharing on your feeds and in their Happy Gallery.  They got this social media thing nailed!  These days social media and online connections seem to be replacing traditional adverts, and I think it’s great how brands communicate with their customers so much more.  I’ve even been tweeted by Tesco about my bedroom decor!

Couldn’t resist a matchy-matchy combo.  With a borrowed mahoosive boy shirt and my not-so-white-anymore pumps to tone it down a notch.
