Just a simple outfit from yesterday! Apparently I’ve got a 70s figure skater vibe going on here – I wasn’t around in the 70s to watch the figure skating myself, but I guess the flippy skirt does it. I’m so glad that I can have a different ‘vibe’ every day if I want to; it really does make me feel differently throughout the day haha. Who knew that clothes could be such a big ‘thing’…? It feels like so long ago that I wore the same uniform 5 days a week, even if it is only 6 months. Boy am I glad that’s over. Makes me so much happier to wear pretty much anything I want, and feel how I want to feel that day! Some people say they find themselves creating a ‘uniform’ of their own but as you can probably tell, that ain’t my style. I like a bit of variety. 😀

Oh isn’t that frizzy hair delightful -.- No matter what I do, it’s perpetually light and fluffy, meaning perpetually frizzy too. The joys!
So, my week. It’s been a long one! Just the usual 4 days of college, with the opticians in between, surprise surprise. I feel like I live in bloody Specsavers, but hopefully I’m done and dusted sorting contact lenses out. *Hopefully.* I said during my writing challenge that I’m awful for saying I’ll be 5 minutes then actually taking 20, and I’m fairly sure I’ve never had mornings quite as rushed as this week! It’s on my own head whether I get myself to the bus stop on time or not, but I’m yet to be organised enough to avoid a mad dash around the house in the morning. So yeah, one day I’ll not start straightening my hair at 10 to, when I need to leave at 5 to. And one day I’ll not need to speed-walk down the road either. ‘One day’ better come soon.
Should be a good weekend though; few things planned with some of my favourite people. 😀 Last weekend I mentioned starting a ‘shred’ of sorts, and I have to say I’ve done pretty well! Resisting the treats for now will just make them taste sooo much better later. Workout wise I’ve been ON IT too, woo! Proper post coming soon. 😛
I am soooo ready for the Christmas holidays! Are you?

6th December 2014 at 8:58 pmPerfect lady!
I’m rubbish at being on time. I swear, every morning I have enough time but there seems to be some grey area that I miscalculate and then I’m speeding down the M1 hoping not to hit traffic!

11th December 2014 at 4:32 amI love the 70s vibe. It’s so cute. And your hair, oh your hair. I’m in love with your fringes. I’m currently growing out my bangs (my hair is a big frizzy mess, ugh).

14th December 2014 at 9:31 pmThanks Somdyuti! My fringe is a nightmare trust me – it’s ringlets when I wake up in the morning! Frizzy hair is good for buns and updos though. It forms it’s own ‘stuffing’ and grips to itself. 🙂

I actually love your hair. I’ve been thinking of getting a fringe cut in for a while and your pushing me in that direction.

My fringe was a spur of the moment living room cut in January/February (can’t remember exactly) and I’ve had it since!
