Knitting hack: when working ribbed edgings, drop a

Knitting hack: when working ribbed edgings, drop a needle size on the round BEFORE you start actually working rib. Gives a neater transition than changing both on the same round ✌🏻

This works because the loops created on your needle on the last round of stocking stitch are the loops that will form the first visible round of rib... so if they're on your bigger needle size, they will look looser than the rest of your rib. If that makes sense 😅 So many times I've forgotten to do this but it definitely makes a difference! Let me know if you try it 😊

A little knit on knit 'fit, just in case there was any doubt that I am indeed a knitter and it makes up a good chunk of my personality. Who would I even be without the hobby I started as an 8 year old 😳 Genuinely can't imagine. Don't know what route my life would've taken but my sweater and accessories collection would be poorer for it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't imagine their life without stitches!

Also, turns out heatless dressing gown curls actually work. Who knew 🤷🏻‍♀️
