Long sleeve #AbydosTop coming along nicely 🍂 Gave it a bath after finishing the first sleeve and the fabric bloomed sooo well - it's a proper squishy wooly wool and I love that. I'll take some proper WIP photos of it worn to show the sleeve drape at some point, but I'm not feeling my finest this week so a flatlay will have to do for now 🙈 At least you can see the little tuck edging that I am enjoying very much!

Add a vintage necklace and suddenly I am a new woman 💃🏻 I love how clothing & accessories totally change the way you hold yourself / move / feel... I was on a photoshoot the other day and couldn't help but pose completelyyy differently in baggy jeans compared to a pretty dress (managed to sly some knitty pics in there too because of course). Tis the season for the knits over activewear WFH uniform, am I right? Odd combination but I'm sure I'm not the only one wearing it on a regular basis 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm often asked for the pattern for these big cushions in the background of my YouTube videos, and have to disappoint by saying they're not crochet granny squares or anything homemade, but are from TK Maxx 🙈 Glad people like them anyway! And the small front ones are handmade, just in case I didn't have enough stitchy stuff in my room already. There is no mistaking this is a knitter's space when you walk in 😅

Guess I should maybe design my own cable sweater to add to my inherited / thrifted collection... Maybe a light grey?

Test knitters needed! After what has felt like a marathon grading task this #OverItSlipover is now ready for test knitting 🧶

I liked the crew neck for layering with shirts but thought a roll neck could look cute too... so I knit a detachable turtleneck 😁 I think it'll look great under a coat and then can be unbuttoned and whipped off like a cowl when you're warm inside! Turtleneck is of course not required for the test knit but the option is there if you fancy being extra cosy.

Pattern is written in 9 sizes with instructions for modifying for a longer / shorter / narrower / wider waist and fuller bust. Will definitely need testers to send regular photo updates to check fit as you go along so please only apply if you're happy to do this! All other info is on the application page linked in my bio ✨

Wasn't feeling the metal buttons on my #AnydayCard

Wasn't feeling the metal buttons on my #AnydayCardigan anymore so swapped them out and added a matching crochet edge. Gave an older knit a nice refresh I think 😁 I still want a neutral fuzzy version for winter though! Could knit one in no time on 7mm needles, just the mountain of a to-knit pile to get through first...
