tartan, what else? | OOTD

Tartan and Primark are unavoidable in blogland at the minute, as I’m sure we’ve all gathered already.  Big round of applause and celebratory brew for whoever the styling brains may be at Primark, well done!  I left the dress in the spotlight and kept it simple with a cozy cardi and my fave cutout boots, both Topshop.

I do apologise for the state of my mane btw… made the best I could from leftover Saturday night curls!   Long hair has a mind of it’s own that really wasn’t feeling co-operative today.plaid-dress-in-haslam-park-preston

Felt somewhat reminiscent of a Home and Away high school kid with the tartan and plaid mini (unfortunately sans the summer bay tan). Kinda  Wednesday Addams too, even if it’s not the most flattering comparison 😉

In typical Sunday manner I’m watching last night’s Strictly and checking out twitter and pinterest. What could be better?

Great outfit post and your hair looks super fabulous! I think Wednesday Adams could be a flattering reference- Christina Ricci is such a classic beauty. This outfit could totally pass as Blair Waldorf, too- which is like, the most flattering comparison of all 🙂
