Casual slouchy beige cardigan. teen fashion

Cosy comfy outfit definitely needed!  Super easy one with the most basic of leggings and a shirt borrowed from my Mum.  No matter how many clothes I own, someone else’s wardrobe always seems to have just what I fancy.  My little (not so little) brother is just about bigger than me now, so his clothes are for raiding now too!  Everyone’s welcome to whatever they’d like of mine. 😛

Feels the natural thing to do to wrap my arms around myself and pull my sleeves over my hands when it’s this cold, so I apologise for looking so huddled!  I can’t quite make my mind up whether I’m a ‘winter person’ or not.  I love the idea of winter in all it’s homeliness and bundling up and Christmas and all that kinda thing, but in reality it’s maybe not so idyllic haha.  I know we’re not exactly in Arctic conditions here in England (reading this post of Chloe’s made me feel silly for complaining!) but still, cold isn’t a fun feeling.  Maybe some feel the same about summer and don’t much care for feeling warm.

This cardigan is literally a circle with sleeves.  Wraps around super snuggly and blanket like, because outerwear with a dual purpose as soft furnishings is what it’s all about these days of course!  I’ve actually had it for a few years but as I’m sure we’re all guilty of, it was completely forgotten about and then brought out again this year.  Better belted than worn open, as pretty much everything seems to be on me.  I love loose clothes cos COMFY but I’m not a fan of the sack look on myself!

So school’s out for… Christmas haha.  We had just about the most effort free half-day of college yesterday; basically turned up to do quizzes and eat food, so nothing to complain about.  Last night I went to the #NWfestivemeet blogger evening in Preston too, and we had a lovely evening!  Quite a few couldn’t make it so we were a smaller tribe than anticipated, but we had a fab time nonetheless.  We met at The Body Shop and Rachelle had decked the place out all Christmassy complete with mini mince pies, Buck’s Fizz, gingerbread yetis (yes really) and all sorts.  Thanks Rachelle for organising and making everything so cute!

I love how the little things around Christmas put such a smile on your face.  Stressy time too being so busy haha, but that’s just life!  One of the little girls at dancing brought me a card and present at work this morning and my teacher gave me one of the personalised Nutella jars, and it’s that kind of thing that just makes me smile, when you’re not expecting it.

Seeing as I started a YT channel in summer, made 3 videos and then… didn’t make more videos haha, I thought it about time to crack out the video camera again!  I took it with me last night and have tried making mini vlogs a few times today, so hopefully I’ll be able to carry on filming random stuff over the next few days and piece it together into some form of vlog concoction.  I’m still very much in practice mode, but having fun!  Send any YT/vlogging tips my way.
