little red dress

top10 New clothes and new hair call for new photographs!  I picked up this cute little tea dress and boots the other day as my first autumnal pieces of the year, and then headed out for a little shoot Wednesday evening before getting myself ready for school yesterday.  The bemused looks we receive from passers by are always an entertainment; I guess to some people sitting in the middle of the road could seem like an odd way to spend an evening!

top16 How cool are these boots by the way? Perfect for toughening up summer dresses as I try to convince myself that summer isn’t quite over yet. (it is, it really is. *sad face*).

top17 As far as first days back at school go, yesterday wasn’t so bad.  I received my first GCSE result of an A* in English Literature, go me!  I felt like I belonged with George and Lennie – I revised Of Mice And Men so much – but it was worth it in the end.  I’ve finally stopped quoting the novels in day to day life, 4 months after the exams, but don’t think I could ever forget George and Lennie if I tried!

spec1 I’ve never shown my bespectacled face on here before, but as you can see with my newly dark hair, fringe and new glasses I bear a striking resemblance to Moaning Myrtle!  Possibly not the most flattering of comparisons but I can see properly now, which on the whole is pretty useful.  Glasses are from the Gok Wan range at Specsavers, if anyone cares to know.

Have a good weekend everybody! Back soon:)

[…] photo backdrop don’t you think? As you can see I’m wearing almost the same outfit as shown here a couple of weeks ago, but more weather appropriate for the drastic shift to Autumn we’ve had […]
