all the hugs please

I think I found the love of my life in the form of a jumper lol.  The SLEEVES!  Poloneck love x1000 and my god it is warm.  It feels like an actual hug, which is always good where jumpers are concerned.  Always good where people are concerned too tbh.  Both are a bit thing on the ground atm! 😀  Just comforting to feel someone next to you sometimes isn’t it?  In the same way a duvet is comforting even when it’s warm at night – just feeling something around you.  Strange that, isn’t it, how we know that a duvet or blanket provides zero protection whatsoever, but feel oh so much safer with it tucked up to our chins.  I like the briefest of brief hugs in a different way too, like when your friend arrives, people leave from the party, or when your nan gives you a squeeze when you’ve had a bad day.

This window spot should be even cosier tomorrow when the Christmas tree steals my spot.  We’re late to make the house festive, I know!  I’m kinda ready for it to just snow and get absolutely freezing now rather than rain and rain and rain.  Then it’ll feel more festive. 🙂  I feel like this week I’ve yoyo-ed between ‘woo let’s go out’ and ‘omg let’s stay inside wrapped in 60 blankets’, but I guess that’s December summed up!

Oh and where did I find the love of my life?  In a charity shop.  It’s originally from Birger et Mikkelson so was an absolute gem of a thrifty find!
