aspire style blogger style off

Here’s a brighter dressier start to a Monday morning than usual!  Aspire Style invited me to be part of their Blogger Style Challenge, and well, you know me and my dresses.  Tbh the biggest challenge (as always) was probably choosing one in the first place – I kept to-ing and fro-ing between the quirky vintage frocks and the simpler designs.  Generally dithering about and being indecisive, basically, which sounds more like my daily morning routine.

I’ve ‘styled up’ mine in the simplest of ways, but the nicer the dress the fewer frills required right?  That’s my justification for ‘styling’ amounting to choosing a pair of shoes, anyway.  Just doesn’t need it.  I seem to like minimalist stuff more and more these days – clothes, makeup, my Instagram feed, whatever.  Again, I’ll probably change my mind soon enough and be all about the clashing patterns and ALL the colours again, but for now I like ‘minimalist’, blogger cliche as it is haha.  So shoutout to the makeshift white backdrop of the dining room curtains.

After said dithering I finally decided on this Closet London number – I already own one of their dresses and love the cut of that one so thought another would be a good call.  It was.  Cold shoulder tops and dresses are still everywhere and I really like how these shoulder cutouts are just that little bit different.  I didn’t want to get too ahead of myself and choose a full on summery frock – last time I wrote about ‘Spring inspiration’ it snowed 2 days later, so I’m not gonna tempt that fate.  Would be a perfect wedding guest outfit (maybe with comfier heels) so if anybody I know fancies getting married this year, that would be great. Weddings are always fun and happy and perfect excuse for champagne at 9am so can somebody take one for the team please.

As part of the blogger challenge Aspire Style are running a ‘Style Off’ on their Facebook page – I’m obviously going to be cheeky and ask that you vote for me!  By voting you’re automatically entered to win a £50 voucher, and if I win the £150 voucher I’ll be giving that away on here too, so if pretty dresses are your thing too then I’d head right over.  Just sayin’. 🙂

Of course. I will vote for you. I do like this dress, makeup and shoes a lot. I believe it may even be my favourite outfit. Good luck.
