I read lots of blogs. Not as many as I’d like to (I could kill HOURS every day, honestly) but a fair few. Some I read the odd post, some I read most, and some I read every single one. Because I’ve somehow become addicted to knowing every detail or certain individuals’ lives, which seems kinda weird really, but I guess that’s the point of lifestyle blogging isn’t it? I don’t mean to sound like a creepy fangirl, promise. All 3 are very, very different, but all have in common that they write A LOT and are relatable. Which is exactly why I feel a bit daft publishing the odd quick post, but I guess short easy reading has its place too. :) Anyway, on to the faves:
Seriously this lady is one of the most ‘professional’ bloggers I can think of – how is it possible to blog sooo much? My favourite posts are the funny tales of her life though. Makes me feel like I’m not alone in my daftness. Gotta watch her with the upholstery cleaner though. I feel like lots of bloggers tone down the honesty once their blog ‘makes it big’ (nothing wrong with that if it’s their way of being professional) but I really like Amber’s posts giving an honest insight into life as a full-time blogger. Her style’s so recognisable too – I may or not have picked dresses up and said ‘that’s very Amber’. I’m still not a creepy weirdo though, not at all…
This is a gal who writes things that you can’t help but say ‘OMG that’s so me’. I feel like I know exactly how I’m gonna feel in my twenties just from reading her posts about being in your twenties. I’m only just 18 lol. Hannah’s style is really distinctive and chatty and unapologetic. You can just tell hers are the kind of posts to go viral – click through and you’ll 100% find yourself clicking on relatable list after relatable list. I mean, who doesn’t already read Hannah’s blog?
Aside from the beautiful photography and beautiful outfits and beautiful face, I LOVE how Audrey turns a simple outfit post into well, an art piece. How does one get such inspiration from a dress? She’s a very talented lady. I feel like her simple choices of titles mean you don’t know what you’ll be reading about, and therefore must click through to find out. Audrey’s another very, very honest one, which you’ve probably guessed is my no1 favourite thing in a blog. Stunning outfits don’t hurt either – this girl has the best fashion!
Scarphelia (aka Katie)
Where to start with this one? I’ve read Katie’s blog for as long as I’ve been blogging and I truly feel like her’s is an online diary shared with the world. I feel like we’re kept up to date with her thoughts and feelings, when they change, and what influences them. Sometimes reading someone else’s observations on the world can you make you observe yours a little more carefully. I remember her post on ‘being a tourist in your own city’ influencing some of my very first lifestyle posts, and others have certainly set off my train of thought since. I feel like it’s great as 17/18 year olds to have bloggers like these to look to – when we’re being told left right and centre about the ‘best options’, it’s refreshing to hear tales from the other side about what the next few years are really like. Katie decided university wasn’t for her and has lived a life of adventure since leaving. Y’know what, sometimes ‘the system’ doesn’t work for everyone, and it’s great to see someone carving out their own future and taking us along the wy. Thanks girl <3

8th December 2015 at 1:44 amlily, thank you so much for your kind words about frassy, honestly I am up late working, tired of WORKING and coming across this really was light in an otherwise stressful night. I am so happy you appreciate my honesty and all that I do, thank you. As for you, you are so beautiful, both inside and out after spending some time reading your other content before reading what you so sweetly said about me. I always like to see what kinds of women appreciate my blog and I am always impressed whenever I go and investigate, you being a true testament to that! All the love to you girl!

Thank you so much for reading my blog – it really means a lot that one of my favourite bloggers like my words too, even if they’re mostly utter drivel. So thank YOU!
