bye bye summer

When in doubt, fedora.  That’s how it works, right?  I like fedoras and they hide a multitude of hair sins too.  Always a bonus.  I’m thinking of betraying my trusty black one and adding a beige hat to my collection too – what do you reckon?  I give far too much thought to these things I swear.  Those cat shorts are still on my mind!

Fedoras and over knee socks are pretty much my autumn uniform, which I might as well wap out 2 months early since England’s decided it’s basically Christmas already.  We had the fire roaring and everything yesterday.  Seriously.  What is that about?  I might as well shut up complaining about the weather and just accept that summer lasted for 10 days back in June.  This dress is a cute one for that transitional phase though, so I’m happy about that!  Apparently I’ve decided long-sleeved dresses with pussy-bows are my thing too.  Seems a good bet for September weather.

This, my friends, is known as the selfie hallway.  The selfie mirror’s just out of shot.  Some of the interiors and layouts in my house are pretty cool!

 

Hope you’re all enjoying the last few weeks of summer (whether it be summer weather or not)!  It’s suddenly dawned on me that in two weeks I’ll be back at college and I am no wayyyy prepared.  Summer reading – what’s that?  I still have people to see and places to go!  There’s no way in hell I’ll tick off everything on my summer wishlist, but I’ve done other fun stuff so I’m cool with that.  I write wishlists for the sake of wishing, anyway. 🙂  Learning piano certainly didn’t happen and I haven’t hopped on public transport without a destination in mind just yet, but I’ve kinda ticked off ‘doing a portrait shoot’ by helping photograph a wedding, and I DID go for big walks and swim in a lake!  Kept my pact with myself on that one. 😛
