can’t imagine life without | the stuff that makes things better

— Blogging.  Duhh.  Wednesday’s #lbloggers chat asked how long we thought we’d be blogging for, and my answer was a resounding ‘forever’!  First of all – what the bloody hell would I do with my time?  I invest so much time into writing, shooting, emailing, prepping my blog for the future that I’d have hours left in my day that I wouldn’t know what to do with.  Really can’t imagine not sharing my life on the internet, either.  It’s coming up 3 years now (!!!) and I’ve grown used to pouring my thoughts out and having (parts of) my life documented.  Can’t see myself ever quitting.  Just can’t.

— Taking my camera everywhere.  Following on from my last point!  I live in irrational fear of seeing The Most Photogenic Moment Ever and not having my camera to capture it.  What a travesty that would be.  My baby (my camera) doesn’t come with me to the gym, but that’s about it.

— An interest in science.  Sure, there are times when physics revision makes me want to gouge my eyeballs out, but I just find science in general so fascinating.  Science explains how everything works, and to me, that couldn’t NOT be interesting.   Space in particular has always been a source of endless fascination for me.  I want to know as much as possible about what’s out there.  I’d quite like Brian Cox’s brain, basically.

— Certain people.  You know when you just wonder where people were all your life?  Enough said.

— Pets.  I’ve literally never not had at least one cat at any point in my life (even had 5 for a week when a random cat decided to camp out at ours!) and I’m just so used to having the little balls of fluff in the house.  They’re so chill and perfect to cuddle after a bad day.

— Exercise. Last year I genuinely had no time for exercise for a couple of months (barely had time to sleep, but it was worth it!) and the lack of endorphins really didn’t agree with me. My body needs that kick. My interest in fitness started when I was around 13, and I’ve never looked back since. Fitting it in time-wise is another matter, but the interest and motivation is always there! My 6am runs definitely do more for my head than my legs, and I really can’t imagine life without putting my body through its paces.  Exercise is another aspect of my life that I can’t see myself ever quitting, because it’s exactly that, a part of my life.  No bandwagon or fad diet or anything like that, so I’ll always do my best to fit it in.

— A brother. I’d be a genuinely different person if I had a sister. Or if I was an only child – wow that must be strange! My brother and I couldn’t be more different but I really can’t imagine life without a lil’ bro. Soppy sister moment.

— This ditsy dress.  Of course. 🙂 Only came into my possession a couple of weeks ago, but oh how I have fallen in love.  It’ll be out on every sunny occasion this summer and I won’t even let the funky tanlines stop me.  Liberty print too, ahhh!  Absolutely adore.

What a lovely post 🙂 it’s good to think about the things that make our life what it is, even if they’re the ordinary little things that often pass us by! (Also, are you sure exercise doesn’t do much for your legs? Mine need to hurry up and look a bit more like yours to be honest hahaha) xxx
