I don’t like winter. Bet I’m not alone either! I like the idea of winter, I like Christmas… cosy drinks, cosy clothes… cosy cuddles… Christmas lights… all the winter-y stuff. And the word ‘cosy’ too, apparently. Just not winter itself. By ‘winter’ I mean cold, btw. It’s just not fun, is it? Actually, let me rephrase that. Going outside without a coat to snap a few photos of a jumper isn’t fun. Even with another jumper underneath. Shivering whilst wearing 2 jumpers isn’t fun. Can you tell I wouldn’t be great in Alaska or somewhere? Although if I was somewhere properly cold I’d dress appropriately (hat and gloves and that) so I’d be ok. Send me to outer Mongolia and I’ll wrap up and be fine, but send me to a back garden in England and I’ll freeze my ass off thinking jumpers are sufficient.
Anyway, back to the matter at hand. Polonecks make me think of all those cosy feels I’m obsessed with. Polonecks are basically a hug in knitted form, and I can’t see anybody complaining about that. Polonecks bring a bit of colour up near your face when you’re looking ghostly pale and that bit of extra bright white skin on show is just too much. Polonecks somehow just look that bit more put together than any other jumper. Polonecks > all the other inferior jumpers.
[Quick shoutout to my unintentional Princess Anne hairdo, with a side helping of wispy bits going haywire. Thanks for that, hair. I mean, I know I forgot to wash you this morning, but seriously. Give a girl a break pls.]
Super cute earrings are a birthday present from Jesse (thank you Jess!), jumper is a birthday present from Mum (thank you Mummy!) and can be found here, and contoured cheeks are from the Urban Decay NAKED flushed palette (thank you UD!). Thought all 3 deserved a lil’ lmention. Thanks guys <3

18th November 2015 at 1:05 pmThe worst thing about winter is definitely the cold. It happens the same every year but for some reason I am always surprised by just how cold it gets and how many layers I need to wear to stay warm!

21st November 2015 at 1:23 pmThe idea of it is nice, but the reality of winter is just rubbish! One day I’ll actually dress for the weather too haha 🙂

19th November 2015 at 3:07 amI didn’t know you were such a polo neck fan! I like them too, but I do not have many. I find you have to get the right colour or else it is too much. Light blue looks so dreamy on you. Very Cozy! I like the Princess Anne hair. It was a good accident. It was rather warm today 14 degrees, so I could have tried to dash out with just a sweater, but of course, they had to add a bit of a stiff breeze, grey skies and a few drops of rain. I had to wear a raincoat anyways.

21st November 2015 at 1:25 pmI basically live in polo necks these days! Thank you so much, I’ve always been a fan of blue.
14 degrees does sound mild – at least you only had a few drops of rain though. It’s only just stopped pouring down here after 10 days of incessant rain.
