What could be nicer than a Saturday morning catch up over brunch? Â ‘Thru the Looking Glass’ is top of the list of cutest places I’ve ever been. Thank you very much Evie for introducing us to this little treasure! Â Tucked away inside the beautiful interiors and lovely accessories and gifts is a little cafe selling a selection of all sorts of cakes, pastries and other yummies. Â Was quite the difficult decision but my Chai Latte and Granola with Greek yoghurt and warm fig compote did not disappoint. Â Neither did the bite of white chocolate and raspberry cake that I stole from my mum’s plate 😉
It seemed fitting to wear something girly to such a lovely little shop, and I think this new floral skirt fit the bill just nicely. Â My mum is always the best at finding clothes I love, and she picked this one up for me from New Look the other day. Â Can’t complain coming home to new clothes, thanks Mama:D Â I’m lucky to have a mum who knows my taste so well, I can always trust her to find the perfect outfit.
The rest of my outfit was a complete mishmash of summer and winter pieces. Â Seems the logical thing to do in autumn right? Â Hope you likey anyway.
If anyone has any recommendations for other adorable places in and around Lancashire then I’d love to hear them!

15th October 2013 at 1:35 pmHello Lily! I think you might like the Wolf House cafe (http://www.wolfhousegallery.co.uk/eat.htm) at Silverdale. It is run by people who used to work at the Rose Bakery in Paris, so it is a really good blend of city-chic and country-casual, and the cakes are amazing! One of the male owners/bakers is also remarkably good-looking 😉 Silverdale train station is vintage and pretty – maybe a good place for a shoot with your mum? And Carnforth nearby has an amazing second hand bookshop. Lots of good things for a day out!
