those boys I like best

young-leonardo-dicaprio

At the risk of sounding like a Tumblr kid, just a few lighthearted things I can’t help but like!

Shirts.  Always a good look.  Check shirts, denim shirts, you get the gist.  That ‘I just threw this on and rolled up the sleeves look’ is a good’en.

Tall boys.  And their big bear hugs, that kind of thing, s’all very nice.  Seriously though, is it a ‘thing’ that tall guys like the tiny girls?  Tall girls, I’m sure you’ll identify here.  Not to say a shorter lad can’t have a certain appeal and there are plenty more important things, but I likey the tall boys haha.  Can’t really help it.

Smiles.  πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ The bigger and cheesier the grin, the better.   Just can’t beat a killer smile, in guys and girls really. Looks genuinely mean nothing without a character to back them up – sullen, quirk-free people just aren’t all that attractive (to me).

We like a bit of cheeky.  There’s a fine line between confidence and being a dickhead but if you know where to tow the line, well done you.  That’s a great talent (acquired skill?) to have.  Don’t push it though!  Confidence = good, arrogance = no thanks.

A recognisable, nice smell.  Not recognisable as in knowing which brand, but more a powerful signature smell.  Scents bring back memories in an instant if it’s associated with a certain someone.

Good grammar.  Geeky off the scale, I know, but please please please use the correct ‘your’.  I just can’t deal. *Sorry not sorry*

If you’re not afraid to show your weird side that’s always a bonus.   You’ve not got a hope in hell of dealing with half of us girls if you’re normal.  Too straight-laced is boringgg.  The ability (and willingness) to talk about anything from how the universe works down to the most trivial and ridiculous, kinda goes with this one.  Do like a good conversationalist.

Messy hair mmm.  Some girls might disagree but I’d pick ruffly messy hair over a neatly combed quiff any day!  We’re making life easier for you here guys, take advantage of it.  Wish I could pull off the zero-effort look.  Love an afro too, defo something about them.

Boys who ‘do’ things or have some kind of real interest in something instantly win more points.  Doesn’t really matter what said something is – a sport, music, whatever – it’s the idea of really caring about it that counts.  Wow I’m not articulating myself very well today…  I’ll stop now!

How about a nice voice? I know that can be a priority for attractiveness for me, or a turn off if the man has some nasal whine, sounds extra grumpy or agressive, or doesn’ breathe through his nose much.
