If there’s one shop where I can guarantee finding a well-fitting item, it’s Warehouse, so I was delighted when they asked me to select a dress. It’s probably no coincidence that I chose a black floral again; I do seem to always be drawn to these prints! Since Spring is supposedly around the corner, I chose this as a good transitional piece that I can team with opaque tights and leather jackets whilst it’s still freezing, and will work equally well with strappy heels in summer.
I’m not sure if you can see properly here, but there are dainty little pleat details on the shoulders. Gives it the nicely tailored look! I love when dresses are flattering, and the pleats add a little volume to the shoulders, balancing the loosely skimming shape out nicely. For some reason I seem to go through phases of liking certain body parts haha (I know, weird) and shoulders are my favourite at the minute! I’ve been hitting the weights to tone them up, but I still like these pleats for adding an extra feminine shape.
Lots of talking about shoulders, oops. Anyone else odd like this too? :p
We shot this just outside my house, which happens to be on a very well used cycle trail, so I’m sure many a cyclist and dog walker will have had a laugh this morning!
Lipstick is Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Colour in Ballet Pink, and eyes are Urban Decay Naked 2.
Now for Sunday night bloggy time! I’ll no doubt be tweeting all night, so please say hi!

19th January 2014 at 6:45 pmWhat a lovely dress! I like the details on the shoulders – the pleating makes it look very expensive, and you look extra nice in black florals, I must say!
You are beautiful and BOY am I envious of your legs! Blimey!

19th January 2014 at 6:49 pmI love how you have styled this. I actually have this exact same dress, it’s so nice. I completely agree with you that its such a transitional piece. It will be so easy to change it from day to night, or winter to spring/summer. Warehouse have definitely pulled it out of the bag with this one! Going to follow on bloglovin’ now!
