still wearing that owls sweater

Last year I said I’d be wearing this cosy (if scratchy as hell) jumper ’til it disintegrates – hasn’t done yet so we’re good for a few years hopefully!  How recognisable do you think the owls around the yoke are?  Some people notice the motif straight away and some take a while to figure out what they’re supposed to be.  For a H&M £5 sale find I’m pretty happy with this skirt too, even if it did nearly give passing strangers an eyeful in the wind. Skater skirts are so flattering, even with a huge wooly jumper tucked in.  My tights are a pair plucked from the ‘tights box’ and I’d say where they’re from if I knew.  How we’ve accumulated quite so many pairs of tights I do not know, but at least there’s a pair for every outfit.

I’ve been a busy gal all over the place this week, and fitting both blogging and a social life in isn’t always too easy!  Featuring in a blog post isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.  Half term next week so *hopefully* I’ll be upping my bloggy game a little.  Getting ahead and scheduling blog posts just ain’t happening.  This girl just can’t write quickly enough!  I wish I could hammer out batches of posts in a couple of hours, but speed writing is a skill I’m yet to develop.  Any tips are welcome!  I’ve been all ready this week with camera in tow to take pictures whilst out with friends, but the British weather had other ideas as usual.  And nobody wants to see my fringe after half an hours downpour.

Buttttt… how is it half term already anyway?!?  Time passes so damn fast yet so damn slow.  I can’t believe how far through AS year we are already, but at the same time those first few days of icebreakers feel like so long ago.  I guess we just adjust quickly.  I can’t imagine not knowing some of the people I’ve met so far and I actually have such a laugh at college!  All about the laughs, as always. 😀

I hope you managed to up your blog posts. You’re an absolute babe and I’m loving your blog lately.

I never would have realised those were owls unless you hadn’t mentioned it!

Checked out your post – Oh how I’d love to be so organised! I’ll definitely try to take on board some of your tips though.
Really glad you like my blog, thank you!
I quite like that the owls are subtle – would maybe be a bit OTT otherwise!

Yay – I’ve finally caught up on your blog! I love reading your words because you’re so youthful (but mature) and full of so much inspiration and love for life. It makes me feel comforted that there are people like you out there! Also so talented – I wish I could crochet or had the physical strength that you do! I need to whip my ass back into shape – you put me to shame! I am so glad that I finally had the time to settle down and catch up. Perfect way to finish the weekend xx

Love the Kate Davies Owl Jumper! It’s on my knitting bucket list and looks so lovely in that mustard yellow. Hope you had a fun half term 🙂 x

Me too! Was a really quick knit apparently too. I did thank you! I wish half terms could be twice as long!
