strange phrases people searched to land on my blog

Oh the Search Engine Terms list never fails to make me chuckle!  I’ve seen a few bloggers say that they’ve had visitors land on their sites by the most random of means, but I really do think some of mine are quite hilarious.  A few were mentioned in tonight’s #crazybloggers chat, and I just felt I had to share some of the corkers that bring people to mine.  When words are taken out of context and jumbled up, you never know what people will come up with!  Have to wonder what they were looking for with these searches don’t you!

Perhaps the funniest (most offensive?) one that crops up all the time is ‘chubby brunette’.  Apparently I meet the description perfectly, or so the numbers would suggest.  ‘chubby girls in white socks‘… ‘chunky brunette tries on some clothes and turns‘… ‘summer with chubby brunettes‘… the list goes on! Clinique chubby sticks have a lot to answer for. 😉

Highest on the list, after my blog name and other obvious ones, is ‘Playmobil blonde‘.  I must’ve mentioned Playmobil during some childhood reminiscence or something, otherwise I have no idea where this one’s coming from!

Oh and let’s not forget the ones that were probably looking for something other than a style/lifestyle blog… ‘Costume girls boots party‘…’Going sans bra‘… ‘Up knitted skirt images‘…’Naked girl rainiday to the farest image‘… ‘Naked grannies‘ (?!?!?)… Urban Decay Naked palettes have a lot to answer for too!  Just one word out of place and you’ve a wholeeee ‘nother meaning.  Sorry to anyone who didn’t quite find what they were looking for!

‘Lily is at my house‘ ermmm… was I? :/

‘Street walking wearing a running skirt and knee socks‘… ‘Wearing a runners skirt with compression socks‘- can’t say I’ve ever worn this combination tbh!    Would be an interesting one to say the least.  Considering I’ve never owned nor thought about owning a pair of compression socks in my life, I’m a little bemused.

And there are some that are just quite strange.  ‘College boys forced to wear girls clothes and bra‘ – someone has cruel intentions! ‘Cat bus tights‘ – now I’m all for eccentric tights but haven’t yet found a pair featuring both cats and buses, dammit.  Still on the lookout for those.  ‘Real quit clg girl blue eye‘ – yep, that’s me!  ‘Westun outfeet for tineger’ – well, what can I say.  Us tinagers love a good westun style, we do.

Isn’t the internet full of entertainment?  Obviously there are far more google searches along the lines you’d expect for a blog, but these are the ones that really make me laugh.  Google’s algorithm for finding the most appropriate website must be quite perplexing.  Sometimes it’s actually quite satisfying to see that your blog has helped someone in finding what they were looking for (I’m referring to the more ‘normal’ searches that relate to what I’ve written about here, BTW, not the peculiar ones).  I could go on to list many, many, bizarre words and phrases but we’d be here all day!  The internet really is a barrel of laughs isn’t it?
