de-stress and dress down

If an award for the most simple OOTD existed, I’m pretty sure I’d win it with this one!  I’m getting into this slouchy casual look.  i inherited these pants from my Nan when she accidentally picked up a mis-labelled size 10 in Primark – funny how my family’s clothes always make their way into my wardrobe isn’t it?  Not like I don’t have plenty of my own or anything.  Pinched a pair of mama’s shoes and added a slinky cami, and joggers have a whole new look, styling genius or what!  Sarcasm, dw.  Not gonna lie, I was just playing around with clothes in my bedroom and haven’t actually worn joggers, heels and a strappy cami out and about yet (keeping it real here!).  I’m sure we all do it.  Joggers with a baggy jumper, leather jacket and converse that I wore today to walk to dancing just doesn’t come across so well on camera, you see!

Chunky chain necklace wrapped twice around my wrist, I did say I was just messing around!  I do this all the time with necklaces though.

Gone are the days of 4 day college weeks; I’m going to be in pretty much every Wednesday with revision classes, mock exams and never-ending textiles work from now until summer most likely.  Oh the joys!  I loved having a day off to myself haha, broke the week up nicely.  Wednesdays and weekends used to be my only time for going running in daylight too, but it was just about light enough this morning to go before college so I went for my first 6am run this year.  Plenty people throw on a load of hi-vis and hit the pavements in the dark, but I’ve never been so sure about it myself!  I quite like the sunrise and virtually empty roads though.  ‘Tis a good start to the day.  Actually getting outside and covering a few miles seems so much more satisfying at the minute than HIIT or strength workouts at home – I don’t know if I’ve just been doing YouTube fitness videos for too long but I seem to be getting bored and lacking motivation pretty easily these days, hence the exercise classes and running and whatnot.  I’m jumping on the whole ‘summer is approaching’ fitness bandwagon, might as well!

It’s been a stressful week in many ways so I’m hoping this weekend is slightly more relaxed, and possibly even productive. 🙂

I love this outfit! I’ve been switching between pencil skirt and comfy pants the whole time lately and that would be what I might be wearing every single day when summer comes haha!
Oh by the way, I got that mascara sample from Guerlain the other day, and it’s featuring Natalia Vodianova on it, and I thought she looks just like you on that specific picture! I have no idea if we can post links in comments (I’m always scared the bots consider it as a spam!) so I included it in the Website case so you can check it out too, haha. (and for the side note the mascara is amazing, probably one of my all-time favorites!)
Hope your newly busy Wednesday won’t be too harsh, hopefully holidays are coming soon, right? Good luck! xx

Thank you Clothilde! I think I’m gonna wear this kind of outfit loads in summer, it’s loose but without being OTT floaty!
I just looked up the advert, and wow that’s quite the compliment! I might give the mascara a try, my lashes need all the help they can get!
One more week of college and two weeks holiday yes, I can’t wait 😀
